I wanted one last song to culminate this whole EP, and I decided to interpolate the traditional folk song “Shenandoah.” This song has followed me from high school and college, and it struck me that it was there throughout new phases of my life. I wrote new lyrics on top of the melody that speaks both of the river and the flow/cycle of life and healing.

Thank you for listening, I hope you always find the song you need in every season of your life.
