I actually wrote the hook for "Waiting Room" while waiting in a pre-OP waiting room. Over the past year, I've spent a lot of time in doctor's waiting rooms and surgical pre-ops, just staring at the ceilings and walls to pass the time….

“Staring at these white walls, at the speckled ceiling…not much else to do here except wait for the healing.”

This song also touches upon the mental waiting rooms we put ourselves in when in the process of healing. Everything feels uncertain and we don’t know when, where, and what is next…

But the great thing about waiting rooms is you don’t stay in them forever ❤️‍🩹
